Mashable
Mashable is the largest blog focused on social networking. Like TechCrunch, it has an amazing amount of coverage and, surprisingly, launched at nearly the same time. Mashable was launched by Pete Cashmore in July 2005. Currently, it has over 5 million page views per month, making it one of the most popular blogs on the Internet.
The name “Mashable” comes from the word “mashup” — which is a web application that combines data from more than one source. It regularly covers popular social networks such as MySpace, Facebook, Bebo, Orkut, YouTube, as well as less high-profile sites.
